ABOUT THE KITCHEN
Our fabulous Grade II listed Inn offers you modern dining in a gloriously British setting.
It’s a place where you can discover that long, lazy, luxurious weekend feeling, indulge your passions for fine food and simply relax, unwind and enjoy!
We – that’s me, Jo and my husband, Anthony – have been here over 15 years. We loved the place when we ran it as The Inn at Farnborough, as we know our guests did too; but we always had a dream… to do something different… to bring you a new concept in Country Eating House dining.
And that’s how The Kitchen at Farnborough was born.
We are entirely independent… and proud of it. We only select, prepare and serve you the absolute best food and drink we can source; mainly from local food heroes; some from our own Kitchen garden. Everything is freshly prepared here, in our kitchens, by our amazing chef and his team; from tasty breads and silky-smooth pasta to indulgent ice creams and even our signature chocolates.
The Kitchen is all about food, fun, family and friends; joining together around the table; a foodie heaven full of unctuous, comforting delights and a place for memories to be made. We look forward to welcoming you here.
“Anybody can make you enjoy the first bite of a dish, but only a real chef can make you enjoy the last”
We are so lucky with where we are… in the heart of a beautiful, and ancient, rural village… but still no more than 10 minutes from both junctions 11 and 12 of the M40. It’s the perfect place for business and social gatherings alike; and with a large car park, we can accommodate coaches and car clubs by prior arrangement too.

We love our team: they mix warmth and professionalism with a ‘can-do’ approach and will strive to ensure your time with us is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Whatever you need, please do ask.
When the weather’s kind, or simply when you feel like it, you can explore our glorious terraced garden and drink or dine on our heated and covered decking area: perfect for warm, sunny days and long, balmy evenings.
After a lovely long walk in the countryside, your dogs will have a warm reception at The Kitchen. We welcome dogs in the bar and furry friends get a water bowl and woofy treats!
